Worcester, MA — September 2025 — The Jarboe Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our 2025 Thanksgiving Project, an annual tradition dedicated to ensuring that no family in Worcester County faces an empty table this holiday season.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to provide over 160 families with full Thanksgiving meals—complete with all the fixings. The need has only grown, and this year we are committed to expanding our reach to serve even more households across Worcester County.

What’s included?
Each Thanksgiving package will include fresh produce, holiday staples, dessert mixes, and everything needed for families to gather around the table and enjoy the season together. For many, it’s more than just a meal—it’s the gift of normalcy, dignity, and hope.

Why it matters:
In Worcester County, 1 in 8 families experiences food insecurity and many spend more than half of their income on housing. For these families, the holidays often bring stress instead of comfort. The Jarboe Foundation is working to change that by rallying local volunteers, donors, and partners to make Thanksgiving possible for those who need it most.

How you can help:

  • Sponsor a meal: Just $50 covers the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner for one family.

  • Volunteer: Join us in assembling and distributing meal packages.

  • Spread the word: Share our mission with friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

Together, we can turn the season of giving into a season of belonging—making sure every family in Worcester has a place at the table.
